Recruiting Network Marketing
Professionals and Sales Consultants
Recruiting sales consultants
and network marketing professionals to your sales team
Starting
with the ABC’s of Network Market Recruiting
Network Marketing Recruiting: starting off on the right foot.
Let’s begin right from the beginning. Even if you know how to
recruit you need to know how to have a new sales consultant join
your team so he comes the network marketer is captured in our
system, under your team.
This is a link to my personal sales consultant home page. After
I tell you the basic steps, you should click on it and go there
to actually see the link for sales consultants to join your team
and to remember the process. This is real simple and straight
forward but needs to be addressed. When you recruit a prospect
for your team, have them go to your home page. They need to
click on the link in upper blue left corner that says…join my
team. That’s it, but it has to go through this page. If you send
them to our website and they sign up from entering our site
directly, this new sales consultant will not be electronically
tied to your team.
I come from a background in sales and marketing and was taught
that the closing didn't start until you got an objection. That's
true in the network marketing business as well. To be really
good at recruiting, you need to get down to decision time and
find out where your network marketer stands. The following
information will also give you some new ideas where to recruit
and how to recruit.
After
searching the subject online, I’ve put together a combination of
reports with full credit to who wrote the articles. At the end
of the day you will start to see patterns and trends for
recruiting and while you will learn all about how to recruit,
you will still just have to get out and recruit. The better you
recruit the more successful your network marketing company will
be.
Here are 7 tips for helping you become a better recruiter by
helping you bring out objections and other related ideas:
1. Try and see your opportunity from your network marketing
prospects viewpoint. Everyone is at a different point in their
life and you need to understand how they view themselves to
understand how they are viewing your opportunity. Recruiting
starts with you asking questions about them. The nice thing
about our network marketing program is that it can appeal to
both the new comer, or the network marketing professional. They
can work part time and earn extra cash, or they build a business
into something substantial and meaningful. Try to find out
what appeals to the sales consultants view point. Is it part
time, building a business, what are your recruits view points on
this opportunity.
2. Cultivate a relationship with your recruiting prospect. This
may be done over a period of time and require you to recruit in
stages and not all at once. Different people warm up
differently. Recruiting is like eating an elephant. You recruit
or in this case eat one bite at a time. With some prospects you
may need to slow down a little.
3. Be a better communicator. This is an acquired skill, but your
ability to speak and listen at a level that your prospect
understands will determine how many people you recruit. Putting
on the best presentation in the world is worthless if they don't
understand what you are saying. When you recruit use hand outs:
show them the info card and business card. When you recruit,
share the Yum Drops® experience. Sell them on the product and
then sell them on joining your team as an independent sale
consultant in network marketing
4. Educate your recruit based on what they are saying to you and
not everything you know. You may know your company better than
anyone else in the world, but that does not mean your prospect
wants to hear it all. Learning their goals and their dreams will
lead you to what information to provide how much information you
need to give the recruit.
5. Recruiting formally and informally: Recruiting is something
you do everyday. 8 out of 10 times it’s informal, meaning you
run into a prospect somewhere and connect with them on Yum
Drops® Flavoring. But remember this; the key to a successful
network marketing program is the product. If you start
recruiting before the prospect is a brand advocate, you will
never learn the right objectives. First they must like the
product!!! Once they like the product, then you can bring up the
opportunity to earn extra income part time. All successful
distributors and sales consultants need a 15-30 second script.
I've provided one for you further down for you to use as is or
personalize on your own. You must always leave them with
at least an info card. Yes, you must always carry info and bus
cards if you are in your own business. Don’t expect people to
remember something on their own.
6. Being outgoing and social is a must to be an effective
recruiter for your network marketing business. Sad to say but
this is a realism: “The meek shall inherit nothing”. You have to
get out, you have to connect with people and you have to find a
way to become more outgoing and social if you aren’t. There is
no better day to start this new you than today. Nobody but you
knows if you aren’t. Play the role and become a great actor if
you are not a social butterfly. If you are already outgoing,
then this is the easy part for you. If you never get out
you will never have an objection to overcome and that's a
problem...
7. Lastly success in the details. In this case that means the
follow up. How many times have you heard that comment? How many
times do you do it? You need closure on this recruit and they
deserve to make a final decision. If you've uncovered any
objections and handled them properly, you must use follow up
skills to close the prospect. You can live with a yes or
no, you just can’t live with a maybe or no response at all. This
comes down to closing the deal. Getting their decision allows
both of you to move on. Recruiting over and over is ultimately
going to be the key to your success.
To summarize these tips, recruiting really comes down to getting
a final decision from your prospect. Getting from the beginning
to the end is a process of educating and overcoming objections.
Do that enough and you are going to make a lot of money as a top
performer in network marketing.
Sales script- When you are recruiting a Sales Rep for your
team
Recruiting starts with a great product and Yum Drops® Flavoring
is jut that…a great product. But before you can begin to recruit
you need to have the person try the product first. They should
actually buy the product and use it. The key is to build a brand
advocate first. Once they believe in the products too they are
more likely to become a member of your team. You must tell them
a story. People like to learn something and if you can do that
you are on your way to recruiting them.
